Industrial Waste Management and Monitoring System

India generates over 7–8 million tons of hazardous industrial waste annually, much of which goes untracked due to outdated manual systems. To tackle this challenge, the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB), in partnership with CSM Tech, launched the Industrial Waste Management and Monitoring System (IWMMS)—a first-of-its-kind digital platform streamlining the entire waste lifecycle.

From geo-fenced trip monitoring to real-time mobile verification and automated NOC workflows, IWMMS is setting new benchmarks in environmental compliance. With over 100 industries onboarded and measurable gains in efficiency and transparency, the initiative is fast becoming a model for other states.
