Social Protection Delivery Platform (SPDP)

The Social Protection Delivery Platform (SPDP), developed by the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment with support from Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA), is a state-wide digital initiative for Differently Abled Persons (DAPs). Covering more than 70 welfare schemes and services, SPDP integrates Aadhaar, DigiLocker, SFDB, PDS, CMCHIS, and e-Sevai to provide real-time eligibility checks and secure data exchange.

Its Social Registry Engine maintains de-duplicated beneficiary records, while the Auto Triggering Platform (ATP) automates dependent services such as therapy scheduling, assistive device allocation, and direct benefit transfers without repeated applications. Modules for case management, grievance redressal, outreach, and asset tracking ensure comprehensive service delivery. Administrators access live dashboards for monitoring coverage, pendency, and SLA compliance.

With mobile apps for beneficiaries and field staff, and modular design for future scalability, SPDP strengthens disability welfare services, promotes inclusive governance, and ensures transparent service assurance.
