Job Profile

  1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS and other data integration tools to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.

  2. Work extensively with SQL Server to extract, transform, and load data efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  3. Build dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar visualization platforms.

  4. Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and reduce processing time.

  5. Monitor performance of database systems, track resource utilization, and troubleshoot query throughput issues.

  6. Collaborate with BI teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support reporting and analytics requirements.

  7. Develop scripts in Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.

  8. Perform data validation, data quality checks, and ensure timely delivery of processed datasets.

  9. Prepare documentation, maintain ETL logs, and adhere to project timelines and coding standards.

  10. Continuously learn and apply concepts related to normalization, SQL best practices, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.

Candidate Profile

  1. Good experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Plotly, Pandas, etc.).

  2. Strong hands-on experience in SSIS, ETL processes, and SQL Server.

  3. Prior experience as a BI Data Engineer.

  4. Proficient in SQL with strong query debugging and optimization skills.

  5. Good understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing.

  6. Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.

  7. Experience in building dashboards and reports using BI tools.

  8. Ability to monitor and optimize database and system performance.

  9. Familiar with scripting, normalization, OS basics, and networking fundamentals.

  10. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  11. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage tasks independently within deadlines.
