KIIT International School Triumphs at CSM Synapse ...

KIIT International School, Bhubaneswar, claimed top honors at the fourth edition of CSM Synapse 4.0, a prestigious inter-school quiz competition organized by CSM Tech in association with Quizcraft Global. Represented by the dynamic duo Adweya Sarangi and Swastika Mishra, the team emerged victorious after a fiercely contested Grand Finale, earning the cash prize of ₹2,00,000. The Grand Finale, held at Guru Kelu Charan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre, Bhubaneswar, brought together six zonal winners from across the state. The event was graced by Chief Guest Commander Sushanta Kumar Mohanty, Commanding Officer of Naval NCC, along with CSM Tech Founder & CEO, Mr. Priyadarshi Nanu Pany, and CHRO, Ms. Lagna Panda, who felicitated the winners. The competition was hosted by renowned quizmaster Adityanath Mubayi, also known for leading the research team of the popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. DPS Rourkela, represented by Ekansh Tripathi and Abhijit Pradhan, secured the first runner-up position and a prize of ₹25,000. Other finalists included DAV Unit 8, Bhubaneswar (Saumya Sai Dash & Swaddhaya Kanungo), OAV Chamakhandi (Biswajit Mishra & Ranjita Sahu), St. Paul’s Rourkela (Arnab Ghosh & Anwesh Ranjan Pradhan), and Takshashila School (Soumya Ranjan Choudhury & Sai Krishna Maharana). Each of these teams demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill, having won their respective zonal rounds in July. The 2025 edition of CSM Synapse introduced an innovative two-tier format comprising three zonal rounds followed by a Grand State Finale. This structure allowed the top two teams from each zone to compete in the final, providing broader representation and a more competitive environment. The new format added scale and intensity to what has become one of Odisha’s most anticipated school quizzes. In his address, Commander Mohanty inspired participants to channel their knowledge and curiosity into service to the nation. He applauded the efforts of all students, emphasizing that learning and discipline are foundational to future leadership. His presence added inspiration and gravitas to the event. CSM Tech CEO Mr. Priyadarshi Nanu Pany congratulated all the participants and reflected on the growing impact of Synapse. “This platform has consistently brought together some of the brightest young minds in the state. We’re thrilled to announce plans to scale Synapse into a national-level competition in the next edition, opening the stage to more schools and more talent,” he said. He also commended Quizcraft Global, led by Mr. Mubayi and Mudita, for delivering an intellectually engaging and well-curated event. Speaking to the students, Mr. Mubayi emphasized the importance of learning for its own sake. “We may not win every time, but we always gain. Quizzing is not just about answers—it’s about building a habit of curiosity, research, and continuous learning,” he noted. He also praised CSM Tech’s commitment to education and its vision of knowledge-driven development. Since its launch in 2022, CSM Synapse has evolved into a flagship educational initiative that promotes academic excellence, teamwork, and confidence among school students. It is a reflection of CSM Tech’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of learning and innovation. With world-class quizmasters, challenging questions, and high-energy participation, Synapse is more than just a contest—it’s a celebration of knowledge. As CSM Tech continues to drive education-focused programs under its CSR and community development initiatives, Synapse stands tall as a symbol of its vision: empowering the youth, fueling curiosity, and cultivating the next generation of leaders.
