Bhubaneswar: There is a version of inclusion that looks like a seat at the table. And then there is the version CSM's Lighthouse Initiative is building, one where a neurodivergent professional does not just sit at the table but sets it.
On Friday, 17th April 2026, that version came to life. 'Quiz with Anubrat' , the first initiative under CSM Lighthouse , was not an event designed for Anubrat. It was an event designed by him. Every question, every rule, every round. The stage was not gifted to him as a gesture of goodwill. It was earned, prepared for, and completely owned.
The Idea Behind the Initiative
CSM Lighthouse was founded on an honest question: What happens when we stop focusing on what neurodivergent individuals need from us, and start paying attention to what they can give?
The answer requires a shift , from sympathy to empathy, from empathy to action, and from action to genuine platform-building. Identifying talent. Nurturing it. And then stepping back and letting it lead. 'Quiz with Anubrat' was that belief made visible.
The Evening That Proved the Point
Four competing teams. Four members each. Sixteen participants on stage, all at Tech Lead level along with BD team , testing their knowledge across General Knowledge and Current Affairs, while the entire organisation was welcome to fill the audience seats.
Anchored by Tapaswini, the evening opened with words from Wholetime Director & CHRO, Lagna Panda, followed by an address from Chairman Cum Managing Director and CEO Priyadarshi Pany, sending a clear signal that this initiative carried the full weight of CSM's leadership.
But the room truly shifted when Anubrat took the mic. Confident. Clear. Unhurried. He ran each round with the ease of someone who had lived with these questions long before he wrote them down. Subhasmita kept the scores with precision while Bhagyashree ensured every rule held fair.
When the dust settled, it was the BD Team, led by Kulwant Singh Malik, that lifted the first-prize trophy champions of an evening that had already given everyone present something far more valuable than any prize. The runners-up team, led by Ashutosh Samantaray, put up a brilliant fight and earned their recognition with equal grace.
Director & CHRO, Lagna personally felicitated the winning BD Team, the runners-up team, and Anubrat himself, a moment that carried the full meaning of what the Lighthouse Initiative stands for.
What Comes Next
'Quiz with Anubrat' is a beginning, not a summit. CSM Lighthouse has a longer road ahead , more knowledge sessions, more neurodivergent champions identified and nurtured, more platforms built with intention.
Because the Lighthouse does not shine a light on people. It shines a light with them.
And on 17th April, Anubrat held that light for all of us to see.
