The South Zone round of CSM Synapse 4.0, Odisha’s largest inter-school quiz competition powered by CSM Tech, concluded on an electrifying note at Gyana Vikash School, Berhampur. Amidst intense competition and razor-sharp answers, OAV Chamakhandi clinched the zonal championship, represented by the dynamic duo Biswajit Mishra and Ranjita Sahu. Close on their heels, Takshashila School’s team—Soumya Ranjan Choudhury and Sai Krishna Maharana—secured the runner-up position.
Both teams have now earned their spot to represent the South Zone in the much-anticipated Grand State Finale in Bhubaneswar.
The event drew more than 50 teams and 100 students from across South Odisha, spotlighting some of the brightest young minds in the region. The quiz was steered by the accomplished quizmaster Bivash Rath, under the banner of Quizcraft Global Knowledge Solutions. The Grand Finale will once again be hosted by India’s legendary quiz icon, Adittya Nath Mubayi.
With the South Zone rounds wrapped up, with theses six teams in their finals:
- Takshashila School
- DAV Berhampur
- OAV Sidheswar
- OAV Chamakhandi
- KC Public School
- Gyana Vikash - Govindpur
Two teams – OAV Chamakhandi and Takshashila now join their counterparts from the North and Central Zones, marking the completion of all regional rounds in this two-tier quiz tournament. The intellectual clash will culminate at the Grand State Finale, where the best minds will vie for the ultimate title and a grand prize of ₹2 lakh.
