
The Central Zone round of CSM Synapse 4.0, the city’s largest and most anticipated school quiz, concluded with an electrifying finish as two standout teams—KIIT International School and DAV Unit 8, Bhubaneswar—secured their spots in the upcoming Grand Finale. The winner’s title went to Adweya Sarangi and Swastika Mishra from KIIT, while Saumya Sai Dash and Swaddhaya Kanungo from DAV Unit 8 claimed the runner-up position.
Organized by CSM Tech and hosted by celebrated quizmaster Bivash Rath, this year’s Central Zone quiz saw an impressive turnout with 90 teams and 108 students participating from schools across central zone of Odisha.
CSM Synapse, now in its fourth edition, continues its collaboration with Quizcraft Global Knowledge Solutions, led by India’s iconic quizmaster Adittya Nath Mubayi—renowned for his work on Kaun Banega Crorepati, BBC Mastermind, and over 5000 quizzes worldwide. Mr. Mubayi will once again anchor the Grand Finale, making it a landmark knowledge event.
This year’s edition is structured in two parts: Zonal Quizzes followed by the Grand State Finale, where a prize pool of ₹2 lakh awaits the winning team.
Out of 90 teams the following six teams participated in the Central Zone final round:

- ODM Global School, Bhubaneswar
- DAV Public School (CDA), Cuttack
- DPS, Dhenkanal
With the competition heating up, all eyes are now on the Grand Finale, where Odisha’s brightest young minds will battle for the ultimate glory.
