The North Zone round of CSM Synapse 4.0, Odisha’s largest inter-school quiz hosted by CSM Tech, wrapped up on a high-energy note in Rourkela.
After a gripping contest filled with sharp answers and intense competition, St. Paul’s School emerged as the zonal winner, represented by students Arnab Ghosh and Anwesh Ranjan Pradhan, while DPS Rourkela’s duo Ekansh Tripathi and Abhijit Pradhan claimed the runner-up position. Both teams now move on to represent the North Zone in the prestigious Grand Finale.
With over 50 teams and 100 students from across North Odisha competing, the event showcased the region’s brightest young minds. The quiz was conducted by seasoned quizmaster Bivash Rath, under the umbrella of Quizcraft Global Knowledge Solutions, led by India’s quiz icon Adittya Nath Mubayi, who will return to host the Grand Finale.
As part of Synapse’s two-stage format—zonal rounds followed by the state-level finale—six teams have advanced from the North Zone:
- St. Paul’s School
- DPS Rourkela
- Bal Bharti
- Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Bhoipali
- DAV Sec-16
- Dr. ANK DAV
With a grand prize of ₹2 lakh awaiting the top team, the stage is now set for an intellectually charged state finale that will determine the ultimate quiz champions of Synapse 4.0.
