Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar has been a proud recipient of CSI Nihilent e-Governance Award for the Year 2015-16 for its innovative project e-Agriculture Scheme Monitoring Information System(e-ASMIS) which was developed by CSM. The application has been honored with the Award of Recognition in Computer Society of India’s 51st Annual Convention held at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The project aims at improving the service delivery mechanism under various schemes provided by the department for the welfare of the farmers of the state. More than 20 lacs Farmers have registered themselves in the system by now and department is encouraging this fast and efficient mode of subsidy sanction for the farmers all over the state.
