CSM for Empowering Neurodiversity

PECS Café 

CSM proudly supported neurodiversity through the PECS Café, an initiative that empowered young adults with autism by providing them with a platform to engage in real-world interactions. Using the Picture Exchange Communication System, these individuals developed communication and social skills by serving coffee and interacting with guests, fostering confidence and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. 

Through the PECS Café, CSM demonstrated its commitment to promoting inclusivity and raising awareness about the potential of neurodiverse individuals. By creating meaningful opportunities for engagement and empowerment, the initiative worked towards building a more compassionate community where everyone's abilities were recognised and celebrated.
