Partnership with IIT-Madras & Team Raftar

CSM forged a meaningful partnership with IIT Madras under the CSM Foundation, inking an MoU to power the ambitious dream of developing a disruptive indigenous race car named Raftar. This collaboration brought together the technological expertise of CSM and the academic and research excellence of one of India's most prestigious institutions, channelling shared resources towards a bold and forward-thinking goal.

The partnership embodied the principles of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, reinforcing CSM's long-standing belief in building a virtuous cycle of growth, innovation, and self-reliance. By supporting Team Raftar, CSM contributed to accelerating research and development in electric vehicles while also nurturing the engineering talent and entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of Indian innovators.
