CSM Technologies' support for Faguna, the State Level Folk Music and Dance Festival, was an expression of something CSM holds close that the art forms, sounds, and movements passed down through generations deserve to be celebrated, not allowed to fade quietly into the background. When Radio Outreach 90.8 FM brought forward this initiative, CSM recognized an opportunity to stand behind a cause that goes beyond entertainment and touches the very identity of a people.

Held on March 17, 2024, at the open-air stage of Srirampur village under Tigiria Block, Tulasi Panchayat in Jagatsinghpur, Faguna brought together folk dance artists from multiple districts of Odisha for a single, vibrant celebration of the state's living cultural heritage. Organised under the stewardship of Radio Outreach, the event drew thousands of spectators and featured performances rooted in Odisha's folk, cultural, and musical traditions. For many in attendance, it was the first time a folk dance festival of this scale had been organised in the region, a moment that the community welcomed with visible enthusiasm and pride.

As a CSR sponsor of the event, CSM Technologies contributed to making Faguna a reality. The event went on to receive widespread coverage in leading regional media, a testament to the resonance it created among communities across Jagatsinghpur and beyond. The sponsorship reflects CSM's belief that culture does not preserve itself, and that organizations with the means to support living traditions carry a responsibility to do so. By standing behind Faguna, CSM added its voice to a growing commitment to ensuring that Odisha's folk art continues to find its stage, its audience, and its future.
